On December 13th, 2014 in Campinas SP, Brazil Fernando dos Santos made his XFC debut squaring off against fellow Brazilian Michel Silva in the Season II Lightweight Tournament Quarterfinal. As both fighters made their way into the heXagon at XFCi 8, they knew only one could advance to the next round. That fighter was Fernando dos Santos, who won by unanimous decision 30-27. With a Semifinal matchup against Rubenilton Pereira set for XFCi 10, dos Santos now finds himself in a position to advance in the Season II Tournament, while improving upon his perfect 8-0 record.

Fernando dos Santos began his professional career in 2011 and has emerged since then as a premier fighter within the XFC Lightweight division. This 27 year old native of Rio De Janeiro has continued his development and training for XFCi 10 at Nova Uniao. Continuously improving has allowed dos Santos to be in the position he is today. With the opportunity at Tournament Gold one fight away, you know he is primed for his semifinal bout.

Standing at 5’11”, undefeated Lightweight warrior Fernando dos Santos has won 63% of his fights by way of decision, proving to the mma world that he has the grit and determination to go the distance and do what it takes to earn victory no matter what his opponent may throw at him.

As XFCi 10 approaches, Fernando dos Santos looks to continue his professional dominance, whether it be by decision or submission. With three victories coming by way of submission thus far, the XFC warrior will be ready to showcase his Jiu-Jitsu once again in this Semifinal bout.
