XFCi12 – Carlston Harris vs Michel Pereira

i12-Poster---English (2)A hand injury is forcing reining XFC Flyweight World Champion Bruno “Macaco” Azevedo to withdraw from his first title defense scheduled for November 28 at XFCi 12. The event now has the second season welterweight tournament championship finale between Carlston ‘Moçambique’ Harris and Michel ‘Demolidor’ Pereira as the Main Event, while Vanessa Guimaraes and Viviane ‘Sucuri’ Pereira lock horns at the CoMain event for the XFC Strawweight World Belt. Originally scheduled as the flyweight contender, Jose Maria ‘No Chance’ has now to fight Marcel Adur to grant his right to challenge the champion. Esporte Interativo broadcasts eight of twelve bouts live on cable TV and internet. “Azevedo vs ‘No Chance’ has received a lot of spotlights over the last two weeks.
Unfortunately, injuries are part of the sport”, XFC president Myron Molotky states. “Hoever, our Blackbelts in charge of the fight card (Eduardo Duarte and Marcelo Brigdeiro) took care of it quickly, finding Marcel Adur, who comes from victories over Alexis Vila and Janailson Kevin, to face ‘No Chance’ for a future title shot. Besides that, our Main Event will feature two of the best XFC fighters on Carlston Harris and Michel Pereira. I’m also looking forward to seeing Vanessa Guimaraes and Viviane Pereira fighting for the strawweight crown. It’s gonna be a crazy fight night”.
Two additional changes affected the XFCi 12 fight card last week: Hexagon veteran Vanessa Melo, a runnerup at the first season strawweight tournament, replaced injured fellow Brazilian Daiane Firmino to face Molly McCann. Worldknown Ricardo Tirloni had his opponent switched from Hermes França to fellow Brazilian Jadyson da Costa.
